About Stephanie

I have been living in the Fort Collins area since 2000 and consider Fort Collins my adopted home. It has been a wonderful place for my spouse and I to raise our children.

In 2019, I earned my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Colorado State University and went on to earn my Doctorate in Applied Developmental Science in 2023. In addition to my private therapy practice, I teach part-time at Colorado State University. I currently hold licenses to practice in Colorado (MFT.0002659), Wyoming (LMFT-336), and am a registered telehealth provider in Florida (TPMF1499).

I enjoy working with people across the life span and specialize in attachment, mindfulness, and narrative-based techniques. I have additional training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked a as a childbirth educator and doula for several years. As a therapist, I continue to specialize in support for prenatal and postpartum parents and people navigating fertility difficulties. I have a particular interest in understanding and supporting fathers and nongestational parents through the transition to parenthood.

In addition to my work, I enjoy spending time in Colorado’s beautiful outdoor spaces, making art, playing tabletop games with my family, and reading. I’m always happy to recommend a book!
